Mercury Drug’s Vidaylin Flyer

AGENCY: AXENT, INC.

Even routine materials can be an opportunity to make everyday interactions feel clear, organized, and visually approachable. For Mercury Drug, the campaign included vouchers and coupons designed to communicate promotions effectively while keeping the brand’s friendly and reliable tone.

Though I was a management trainee copywriter at the time, I noticed the team could use extra support and stepped in to help with the layout. I:

  • Organized the provided illustrations and copy into clean, scannable layouts
  • Ensured hierarchy and readability, guiding the viewer naturally from promotion to voucher terms
  • Maintained consistency with brand colors and style

I collaborated with the production team to finalize artwork for print, making sure everything translated clearly from screen to physical material.

DESIGN MATTERS EVERYWHERE

This project reinforced that good design isn’t only for “big” campaigns. Even routine materials benefit from thoughtful layout, hierarchy, and brand alignment. It also reminded me that initiative and problem-solving matter, even early in a career—stepping in to help can shape the work meaningfully, no matter your title.
